A photorealistic design from our team
Every STL Cabinetry customer gets an in-house 3D photorealistic design of their kitchen. Not a rendering fee, not an upgrade.
The consultation
You work with Kaiden, a co-founder, through design and pricing. Walk in to the Saint Charles showroom or book a time, either way there is no charge.
The quote
Written, itemized, and free, on the exact layout you sent us. Ask for a second version in a different door style and that is free too.
Countertop measurement
Our fabricator measures your counters at no cost when your countertops come through us.
Hand delivery
Our own team delivers to the job site. No freight pallets in the driveway and no packaging left behind, just reusable foam we take back with us.
Two things to be clear about
The designer does not show prices. Cabinet count, door style, countertops, and flooring all move the number, so our team prices the design you send instead of the tool guessing at it. And we do not install. Your general contractor or installer handles that. We build the cabinets, assemble them in Saint Louis, and hand deliver them to the job site.
What you are looking at

Only the finish changes between those eighteen renders. The construction underneath is identical, and it is what we build for every kitchen that leaves the shop.
Framed, full overlay
A uniform 1/4 inch reveal between doors, so the fronts read as one continuous run.
5/8 inch plywood boxes
Plywood box with a 3/4 inch plywood back. No particle board anywhere in the cabinet.
3/4 inch dovetail drawers
Dovetailed drawer boxes on undermount, full extension slides.
Soft close, standard
Concealed soft-close hinges and soft-close slides on every cabinet. Not an upcharge.
5-piece drawer fronts
Two rails, two stiles, and a recessed center panel, matched to the door style you picked.
Hardwood face frame
With a plywood toe kick finished to match the doors instead of a contrasting strip.

On a new build, the math changes.
You need cabinets, counters, and floors anyway. Buying all three through us is where the number moves, and we show you the fabricator invoice so you can check it yourself.

- Is the kitchen design really free?
- Yes. The 3D designer is free to use, and every STL Cabinetry customer also gets an in-house 3D photorealistic design from our team. The consultation and the quote are free as well.
- Do the colors on this page match the real doors?
- These are renders of one kitchen built from the door styles we stock, so the finish and the door profile are accurate. Screens still shift color. We keep real samples at our Saint Charles showroom so you can hold the door you picked up to your own light.
- Why does the designer not show prices?
- Cabinet count, door style, countertops, and flooring all move the number, so we price the design instead of guessing at it. Submit your layout from inside the tool and our team writes a free quote on exactly what you built.
- Do you install the cabinets?
- No. Your general contractor or installer handles installation. We build and assemble the cabinets in Saint Louis and hand deliver them to the job site.
- How many door styles can I try?
- Eighteen, across four collections: Shaker, Bevel, Micro Shaker, and Transitional. All of them are on this page and all of them are loaded into the 3D designer.
