Side panels
5/8" premium grade plywood
Full plywood case, no particleboard. Plywood holds screws better, resists moisture, and stays straight under heavy stone counters.
Back panel
3/4" with pre-drilled pocket
Thicker than the industry standard 1/4" or 3/8" hardboard. Pre-drilled pocket holes give your installer a fast, secure hang on the wall studs.
Face frame
3/4" x 1-1/2" hardwood
Solid hardwood, ABS-component frame connectors at the corners. The face frame is what your hinges screw into, so we do not cut corners here.
Toe kick
5/8" plywood, finish-matched
Coated to match the cabinet exterior so it disappears against the floor. No raw particleboard kick exposed to mop water.
Interior
UV-coated natural plywood bottom
Plywood, not melamine over particleboard. UV finish wipes clean, holds up to moisture, and lets the natural grain show inside the cabinet.
Shelves
3/4" thick, 18" deep, adjustable
Plywood, not 1/4" hardboard. Sit on metal shelf pins, not plastic, so they will not sag under stacked dinnerware.
Drawer box
3/4" dovetail with insert stoppers
Real dovetail joinery. Insert stoppers built into the box so the drawer self-aligns when you push it shut. Full plywood drawer bottom captured on all four sides.
Glides
Undermount full-extension, soft close
Pull the drawer all the way out, it stops short and self-closes. No metal side rails. Standard on every drawer, no upgrade fee.
Hinges
Six-way adjustable, soft close
Concealed, fully adjustable in six directions so your installer can dial the reveal exact even after the house settles. Standard on every door.
Doors
Five-piece, factory-finished
Painted styles use HDF frames around an MDF center panel for dimensional stability, no joint lines or panel shrinkage. Wood-finish styles (Shaker Natural, Shaker Driftwood) use solid wood frames around an MDF and birch veneer panel for natural grain show.
Warranty
6-year manufacturer limited
Covers defects in material and workmanship for six years on every Designer Series cabinet. Plus our white-glove delivery: anything damaged in transit is on us, not on you.
